Rob Finlay is the founder and CEO of Defease With Ease | Thirty Capital, with over 35 years of experience specializing in investing, capital markets, debt optimization, securitization, and financial technology for commercial real estate. With deep expertise in structured finance, risk management, and market intelligence, he has built and scaled multiple businesses that help CRE firms—including the properties he owns and operates—enhance liquidity, optimize debt structures, and improve portfolio performance. A leader in capital markets technology, Rob focuses on integrating data-driven solutions to streamline debt management, interest rate risk mitigation, and financial decision-making. Prior to founding the company, he worked for Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, and Deutsche Bank.  Rob also recently authored the WSJ best-selling book, Beyond the Building, the CRE operator’s guide to building a competitive advantage through innovation.​
