Matthew Lexow-Gray is the Head of Data and Intelligence at Defease With Ease | Thirty Capital, with over 25 years of expertise in SaaS technology, data modeling, predictive analytics, and commercial real estate. Matthew specializes in transforming complex financial models and valuation methodologies from intricate spreadsheets into technology platforms. He led data-driven strategies, improving portfolio performance and investment decisions. Matthew’s prior experience includes extensive work as an executive at BlackRock in CMBS valuation, with a particular emphasis on loan-level analysis. He has analyzed underlying collateral in CMBS securities, whole loan portfolios, and equity and mezzanine positions to assess potential losses, including complex loan modifications and highly structured loan reviews. His expertise in bridge lending, valuation, loss projections, financial modeling, and due diligence has equipped him with a deep understanding of structured finance and risk assessment.
