Jason Kelley is the CFO and Head Trader at Defease With Ease | Thirty Capital, with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, trading, and portfolio strategy. Having also been a member of the Real Estate and Corporate Finance groups at Grant Thornton, Jason specializes in managing complex financial models, including cash management, CRE lending, waterfall modeling, market forecasting, and equity analysis. As Head Trader, he focuses on high-level trading strategies, managing multi-million-dollar portfolios, and delivering consistent returns. Jason’s deep technical knowledge in areas such as market liquidity, hedging, derivatives, securitization, and financial modeling, combined with a strong track record in achieving alpha, has made him a trusted leader in managing risk and driving growth, as shown through interest rate hedges placed of over $5B.  ​
