Dawn Holland, J.D., is the Chief Legal Officer and Head of Successor Borrower Services at Defease With Ease | Thirty Capital, with over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, legal management, securities management, and borrower relations. She leads the Successor Borrower Program, managing a portfolio of over 200 successor borrower entities holding billions of dollars in securities as collateral for thousands of defeased CRE loans. With deep expertise in loan servicing, defeasance processes, and capital markets, Dawn has successfully navigated complex legal and financial transactions involving syndicated financings, loan assumptions, modifications, and defeasances. Additionally, Dawn leads the team responsible for ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and execution of successor borrower transactions, leveraging advanced legal knowledge and market insight. Previously, Dawn held a key position at the Banking and Capital Markets group of Parker Poe, representing servicers, lenders, finance companies, and borrowers in structuring, negotiating, and managing commercial real estate deals, including the defeasance of large portfolios and handling intricate borrower-related issues.
